The mission of Love Myanmar ministries is to assist men and women to become devout followers of Christ and to fulfill the great commission by enabling them to know Jesus more fully and intimately through the careful study of God’s Word and to do the works of the Lord and nurturing the believers.
What We Do
Running an orphanage
It is one of the best ways to evangelize amongst the unreached people group Buddhists in Myanmar. We bring together orphans to give education and nurture them with the word of God. Make them to be the disciples of Jesus Christ and faithful men and women of the Lord. It is God’s will; to care and nurture the helpless people (James 1:27).
Witnessing for Christ
To preach and teach the word of God to the unreached people is the main responsibility for every Christian. The Holy Spirit will convince the hearts of sinners and turn them to Christ. Let us witness Christ and make disciples for Him. Strategies: (i) Door to door Evangelism (ii) Personal Evangelism (iii) Literature (Booklets, Tracts) (iv) Open air preaching.
Building the Body of Christ
We believe and are committed to the role and place of the local Church in the Kingdom of God. Every new believer must be added to and every disciple must function in a local Church in order for him or her to grow. A person’s destiny is tied with a local Church’s calling. Our Activities: (I ) Cell group (ii) Children Ministry (iii) Bible Teaching (iv) Seminar (v) Conference (vi) Camp (viii) Counseling and nurturing.
Training the Workers
We believe that one of the most effective ways to build up the Kingdom of God, to reform society and to disciple the nations are to train the leaders of tomorrow. It is in the context of the local Church that Christians are trained and released to do the tasks of God. Activities: (i) Discipleship Training School (ii) Vocational Training Centre (iii) Child care centre.
Sending the Workers
We believe that the most effective way to fulfill the Great Commission is through Church planting and world missions. God has called each Christian to be a witness and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to train, to help and guide the committed Christians and send them into the harvest field. Our heartbeat is to see the nations come to Christ. Activities: (i) Church Planting (ii) Supporting the workers (iii) Caring and helping needy (iv) Witnessing of Christ.
Helping helpless aged people
In Myanmar, the Buddhists give much emphasis on helping the old people. If the Buddhists can help the aged people; it is much more appropriate and biblical that Christian workers emphasis on helping and caring helpless, needy and aged people of the country. Christians must show the love of God through caring and helping the needy people (James 1:27). This is the true way of worshipping and fearing God.
